Cape Water Guy reacted to superdiy in Max pv watts for Axpert inverterChris, you are spot-on. The most important thing here is to never exceed the inverter PV input voltage. If the inverter specs says that it accepts 600W from PV, that simply means that the inverter can utilize up to 600W from PV, even if you have 3000W worth of panels connected, the inverter will only use up to 600W of the available 3000W. Current and power is not an issue - just do not exceed the max PV input voltage.

Cape Water Guy reacted to DeepBass9 in Wind turbineThe wind turbine output is usually 3 phase AC, so you may need to rectify it first. That is usually done at the charge controller so I don't think you can connect directly. I have a spare controller for my 800W turbine, PM if interested.

Yes you can, provided the Output of the turbine matches the Input requirement of the 3kW RCT.
I don't have the 3kW spec handy, but I know on the 5kW model, it is 60V min -145V max.
