Good morning all. I need help please. I got 2 inverters in paralel with 8 550w pannels connected to each inverter. Why would the inverters not charge the same? One is charging more than the other. When the one charge rate picks up the other one drops all the setings on the inverters are the sam

Morning all, please assist. I have an og5.48 plus invertor. Running on 8 550w pannels and charging 4 off mecer M48100 baterries I want to install an xstra og5.48 plus invertor only to use as a charging unit Reason for this is that i want to add xstra 8 pannels I dont need xstra output I know the the charging output from the invertor just gets connected on the batteries where the master invertor is connected. My consern is how does the idling invertor know when the bateries are full. No space to connect a com cable from new invertor to batteries

Hi guys please assist. I had a normal kodak og5.48. The lightning struck my hous on friday So inverter is not working. I replaced it with a kodak og5.48 plus . Reconfigured the solar pannels to 3 strings of 3. The volts i measured coming from the pannels was 120v It is overcast here As soon as the sun comes out and start charging it blew the fuses 20A on the db board Sorry if i put it at the wrong topic

@Scorp007 what do you think is the max wats you can get out of a 550w pannel? Under normal full sunny days

@Calvin if i connect in 2s then will i be able to utilise all 20 of my pannels so basicly conecting 5 x 2s on each inverter. Will the wats not be the next problem? inverter max PV wats 4000☹️

I bought two kodak 5.48 plus inverters so that i can couple them in parralel. I had a normal 5.48 kodak To my disapointment i can only put 9 x 550w pannels per inverter due to the low PV voltage range 145V The old one could handle 480v Instead of putting 24 pannels in total i can only put 18

@BritishRacingGreen set at SUB Load is at around 450w so taking that into account i am still only getting about 2kw outoff 12 pannels

Hi all, i have a 5.48 kodak inverter 4x 4.8kw Mecer bateries 12x 555w pannels Pannels in banks of 4 I am only getting a max of 1.6kw charge on a full sunny day Not getying my batteries full from the sun. Have to use eskom to charge now. Eskom getting switched of next week What can be wrong? Please assist
