AXPERT 5KVA 4000W INVERTER WITH GRIDTIE
Has anybody done research on the synergy inverters and how would you compare them to the Axpert. I cannot find any reading material on these inverters? Regards Bradley

Axpert 5KVA - acting up
I have the same problem, (3 x 5kv inverters in parallel Not the latest models) the inverters were running on grid power through the night no problem the system is set to switch on at 07h15 to solar power, as soon as it did this the system crashed and gave me an error code 60 but only on inverters 1 and 3 Code 60 states that there is feed back power. How can this just happen when the system was running fine with no issues? Any suggestions

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
I was thinking of the Victron as I heard they are the best, why are there others that are better?

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
I currently have digital voltmeters on each battery so I can at least see what is happening and if there is a dead battery which one it is. My next mission is to install the battery balancers just don't know how many I need and the configuration thereof.

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
I have now changed the float voltage on each inverter as I noticed yesterday the float was sitting at 53.7 to .8 volts even though the units were set up for 54 volts and due to the difference in the readings between inverters one is at 54 the other two are at 54.1 volts want to see what it does.

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
Morning Javi I made sure that all lengths of cable from the battery banks to each inverter are identical, even the lengths of cable used for the battery connections are within 1mm, with the size cable used the resistance lost will be minimal. When I did the cable requirements I even took heat into consideration, but I do hear what you are saying. Each inverter is also configured in a certain way and that might cause a variance as well. I just like things to be as close to dammit. So if one can just adjust or tweak certain variables to enhance the system all for the better. The other difference will be the charging current each inverter gives to the battery, but at the end of the day even if all three are charging the return signal should roughly be the same.

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
Are you talking about the charging current I can only charge the batteries in the following way 20 amp inverter 1 20 amps inverter 2 and 10 amps inverter 3 if I make inverter 3 20 amps I am above the battery charging current threshold.

The above readings are current

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
there is a variance between each inverters battery voltage readings inverter 1 = 55.5 inverter 2 = 55.6 volts inverter 3 = 55.4 volts can or must I change the charging and float setting for each inverter so they will read similar battery % SOC

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
I have the older inverter so its still the 145 volt, before I purchased it I asked if it was the newer model and the response was yes but upon installation realized it was still the older model which was upgraded from 60 amps to 80 amps which they thought was the latest one and not the one that does equalization as well.

Morning Jaco, are you asking for the MPPT Voltage range - 60 - 115Vdc or where can I find the info.

Sorry the new Axpert is now a 5000 watt unit the old ones are 4000 watt units.

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
I have one question regarding the BMV, when you charge the batteries and it goes into float mode is that considered fully charged. If I look at the Trojan specs and it states 50 volts is 80% capacity but when the battery gets to 50 volts the BMV states 85 to 88 % cant remember but this could actually be correct because as soon as you release the load the battery goes to a higher voltage. The other thing with the Trojan batteries regarding such a high voltage to equalize, I phoned Trojan and spoke to the technicians there and they said the following (you set the absorption duration to 1.5 hours to 2 hours as the high voltage just enables the equalization to happen quicker but doing it at a lower voltage for a longer duration has the same effect.) I have one other concern that I have just noticed. Inverter 1 is charging at 5 amps inverter 2 has battery discharge at -1 amps and inverter 3 has battery discharge at -2 amps, cant these units be set up so it just uses the PV and the batteries all get charged or discharged at the same rate. Inv 1 PV = 375.9 watts = 3 amps charging, inv 2 PV = 53.7 watts 2 amps discharge, inv 3 PV = 161.1 watts = 0 amps charge or discharge. This is really confusing. The new axpert 5KV/ inverters can now do equalization charge upto 64 volt.

Trojan TR105RE battery setting with Axpert 5KV Inverter
Morning all. Please Help with the following. I would like to know what settings you guys think or know are best for the Trojan T105 RE Batteries. I have 2 sets of 8 in parallel giving you a total of 450 a/hr. There are three inverters connected in parallel. Attached are the specs of the battery. I have the following settings. 05 = User defined. 02 = the master inverter and one slave is at 20 amps charging and the third inverter is at 10 amps giving a total of 50 amps charging. this giving a total of 11.11% charging Best between (10 and 13%) 12 = 47 volts 13 = Full 16 = OSO 26 = 58.4Volts 27 = 54.0 Volts 29 = 46 volts I have now installed a BMV 702 as the inverter states that the batteries are not fully charged. The batteries are around 53.8 volts and the inverter says it only has 60 to 70 % charge capacity. So I need to know what must I do to correct this scenario either by changing settings for the best. With regards to the BMV I must still purchase a cable so I can see what the ICC software says. If I have left any information unclear please inform me. Regards Bradley T105RE_TrojanRE_Data_Sheets.pdf
