Parallel Multiplus' loading grid issue
Yes, there are indeed many parallel installations that are working correctly, which makes this issue a rare one. I am still guessing the problem is because there might be a hardware difference between the two Multiplus' (they are of different age) although Victron has assured they will work together with latest firmware. As could be expected, increasing the grid set point aggravates the problem The measurement is taken from the Multiplus. I cannot seem to find the accuracy specifications but I am sure the measurement error will be a fraction of what we see here - 10%.

Parallel Multiplus' loading grid issue
Hi all, we recently added another Victron Multiplus to our SSEG system and now experience the following problem. The two inverters always draws some of the load from the mains supply. This is regardless of whether the batteries are fully charged and solar is available. It also appears to be directly proportional and remains at 10% of the load. Grid setpoint is already set below 0. The inverters are correctly set up and firmware is up to date on both. The installer refered to Segen who then referred to the sales manager of Victron. The solution he came up with was to put a contactor after the mains supply to disconnect it from the Victron. This is obviously not good practice to solve the problem. My suggestion was to have Victron supply a test Multiplus to replace each of the other two with to see if the problem disappears. They have since however ignore any request and put phone down when called. Both inverters still under warranty with one being brand new. Has anyone here had a similar problem and remedy? I have run out of ideas.

Does anyone know where I can find the above? For use with 18650 battery cells.
