  1. Many thanks. This was my initial thought but the grouping got me all confused. From the picture, it is clearly not. I am awaiting response from Solis to truly see if PV1 and PV2 are grouped. Many thanks once more. You have clarified it for me perfectly. I have got a couple of bifacial panels and current from the 585W ratted panels can push 20A+ . I have heard the Solis Inverters do not react well to over current somethings. So wanted to make sure I am well clear of that.

  3. Hi all, I apologise if this sounds very basic but the spec sheet of the Solis Inverter confuses me. I cannot get a read on it. The Spec sheet says 32A/20A as the maximum input current. The Inverter has 2MPPT Input and 3 Input String Number. My question is, is the max input string on each PV input 32A? Thanks in advance
  4. Hi New to this forum but always have useful solar systems-related advice here. Hoping I will get the same in this particular issue. I am using a Solis S6-EH1P12K-L inverter connected to 2 HaiLei (or Solarpro) 300kWh 48V batteries in parallel. The Battery has a CAN Port with CANH H - Pin 4 & CAN L- PIN5. However, HaiLei batteries are not included in the Solis battery model selection. My specific question is regarding the correct DIP switch settings for both the Master and Slave batteries in this setup. With just one battery, the communication works fine using the DIP switch setting: ON OFF OFF OFF. I get Lithium Battery LV as Battery Type However, When I connect the second (slave) battery and set the DIP switch to OFF ON OFF OFF, the communication sometimes fails intermittently. The Battery Type in Battery Information Registers as 'NO Battery' Do you reckon I am getting the DIP Switches wrong on the slave battery? The battery manual has address 1 as on, off, off, off & address 2 as off on off off.
