Recommended generator to use on victeon multiplus 2 5000 watt
Hi all My system won't accept my current generator wich is a schults 5 kw unit , my installer says output on the generator is not clean ......i am looking at the 7.5 kw petrol generator Adendorf sells. Has anyone used this generator on victron inverters ? The 7 kw husquavarna is also a option for me. All advice will be greatly appreciated.

Victron Advice Needed
Thanks for the reply Plonkster ! Any advice for the whole lte problem ? Is it settings on the router maybe ? Specific ports that need to be added or opened ? I get the idea that telkom might be seeing it as a hack and therefore blocking it ?

Victron Advice Needed
Hi there I hope i am in the right place to ask a question or 2...... My system consisting of a 48 volt 4000 watt multiplus 2 , venus gx , 2 us3000b pylontec and 12 x 3000 mono solar pannels was installed about a month ago. It s running great but i have a couple of questions...... I seem to struggle to get the remote console to work , i have telkom 4g lte running at home to wich the system is connected , on the portal all the info displays and updates but when i want to open the remote console it doesnt , basicaly says it cant connect , is there settings on the rooter that i need to change ? Lte i presume doesn't have a static ip , is this the problem and how do i get around it ? Also , what is the right voltages to charge the battery to , pylontec manual seems to say 53.2 but my installer says victron recomends 52.3 ? Does victron have a support line localy in SA ? Thanks in advance for the help Morne

New member , help needed with starting in solar please
Morning Jaco A little more info : daily usage on prepaid is about 30 units....i have a gas stove top installes already.would love to convert geyser to solar also but i am scared that i dont have enough space on the roof for that and enough pv pannels for a system. My aim is to start with a system that will immediatly lets me use less eskom power and also gives me a good couple of hours worth of backup when the power fails or eskom load sheds. daily load excluding things like geyser , washing machine and dishwaser should not exeed 1700 watt.i was thinking of either a 3 of 5 kw victron inverter(multipluss) , some lithium batterys and either 6 or 9 300 watt pannels to start with , hopefully that will be in my budget ? any decent installers and retailers in the Rustenburg area ? thabks in advance for al, the help.
