Thanks for the response... my previous cheapie inverter would only use the fans while charging. That seemed better to me. Maybe thats why they made these user-replaceable! Im not a "fan" of them always turning, even though it is quiet. My loads are also low... typically also under 100watts, up to maybe 250. But on bypass mode, not sure why load would matter.
Thought I might revive this... ive just connected up a new Axpert King 3kva and it seems that the fans are just permanently on. It was like this for a full 24 hours, even if power button is on or off and even when load is under 50watts.
Ive had to disconnect via the breaker now till i figure out what is going on. Anyone experience this before? I haven't swapped the direction of the fans.
Quick question about the Axpert King series - does this inverter use the batteries in a similar manner to the mks range (i.e. direct from solar/grid to load), or is it constantly cycling from grid/solar through the batteries and then supplying your load from the batteries?
Details on the King series seem a bit scarce and I'm struggling to find any docs on how this inverter differs from the other models (i.e. use of the terminology "off-grid" vs. "Hybrid"
