Hi all the solar fundi's, I discovered that the earth leakage connected to the feed from my Mecer SOL-I-AX-5M Inverter is not working correctly. Again the question arises: should the earth be kept separate from the neutral or not? If anybody can help with advice or a simple diagram, it will be highly appreciated.

How will the US3000 as master and the 2x US2000’s get charged in sync? The US3000 needs more amps to get charged simultaneously with the US2000’s? Will the system split the feed in proportion to the capacities or will it take longer to charge the US3000?

Hi everybody, I am planning to connect an Axpert King 5Kw to a bank of PylonTech batteries. The existing bank consists of 2x US2000 plus units. Question is if it will be possible to add a PylonTech US3000B battery to the bank in parallel and also will it be difficult to get the correct settings for the combination? Any comments or ideas please

Yes, this will work but at double the cost, the axpert plus duo model is something like R2000,00 more than the unit with one MPPT charger. I have limited space..

Hi everyone, I want to upgrade to either an Axpert King or Axpert Plus Duo Inverter. Currently I have 12 panels of 260w capacity on the roof but would like to increase the PV capacity to 4000w or even more. The question is whether the abovementioned inverters can be set up to blend PV with Grid to drive loads if the load is more than what the PV panels can deliver. The current 5KVA Mecer Inverter can not blend and cant handle more than 3000w on the roof. Im using two Pylontech US2000 batteries at the moment but want to double the storage capacity. I lean more towards the Duo model since the PV capacity can be increased using the twin MPP chargers, but I am not sure about its capability to blend grid with solar. Any suggestions/proposals/ comments will be highly appreciated.

I need some help regarding matching an inverter with Li batteries. I intend to purchase the Axpert King 5Kw inverter and want to use it on Pylontech batteries. Is this possible and do I need to change the settings to make it work?

Hi all the solar experts, I want to upgrade from a Mecer Sol -I -AX -5M 4Kw unit to a Goodwe 5048D -ES system. Currently I have 12x 260w JA solar panels, giving me just over 3 KW on the roof, since that is the max my current inverter can handle. The Goodwe has 2x MPPT charge controllers each able to handle 550V and 11 A and is capable to be connected to a total of 6000 w on the roof and can deliver 4.6 kW AC power to the house. The idea is to connect all 12 of the existing panels in series to one MPPT units and install 3 kW more capacity on the roof for the second MPPT input. Question is: Must the second bank of panels be the exact same layout of 12x 260w JA panels or can it be 10x 320w panels for instance? I also intent to add two more Pylontech US200B plus batteries to the two existing ones. Any advice will be highly appreciated. Regards

I need help to set up my Mecer Inverter with a bank of two Pylontech US2000B batteries. Settings are: P2: 50A; P5: USE; P12: 48V; P13: 51V; P26: 53.2V; P27: 53.2V; P29: 47.5V Although the batteries are full, the Inverter "thinks" its empty. I understand that this older version of Mecer doesn't communicate correctly with US2000 B Pylontech batteries and that I need to use a special cable to get this right? Any ideas how to make such a cable? I tried to use the COM cable supplied as part of the cable kit without any success. Any assistance will be highly appreciated.
