  1. Hi all Hoping someone can give me advice on 50kw canadian solar grid tie invertor, does anyone know how i can set voltage limits higher Thanks
  2. Hi guys Great reading all the posts on this forum, very interesting Would like to know if anybody has any experience with the synerji 12kw invertor? I have installed a couple of these invertors before and have never had an issue, but my latest install something is happening wich i do not understand, during the day the system works 100%, but in the evening the invertor shows a load of 2,8kw wich depletes my batteries quickly, but the actual load is around 850w, even if i bypass the invertor through the change over switch or switch off all loads the invertor still registers a load of around 2kw Any advice Clifford
  3. Hi all I have a 12kw off grid system installed, but my batteries only last about 5-6 hours, i have four 4,8kw (100ah ) 48v lithion ion batteries connected into the system My load during the evening runs at about 2,7kw Any sugestions? Thank you
  4. Hi guys I am busy installing a 17kw grid tie system with the solar edge inverter, installed 52 solar panels ( 330w ) with 26 power optimisers, i am having trouble commisioning the system and suppliers are not much help, is there anyone in the gauteng area that can help with commisioning, suppliers suggest i use someone who has done a course on the solar edge system Installation is in oranjeville, everything has been mounted, need help with connecting to the grid Thank you
  5. Tried swopping inputs on pv, no difference, spoke to a friend earlier, at 15h00 load ( according to inverter ) was at 4,7kw, but pv ( according to inverter ) was at 2,3kw, he also has 24 270watt panels installed on the 12kw synerji inverter, batteries are always depleted as solar is not enough to carry the loads He also has a secondary system with 12 325watt panels on the same make of inverter ( also a 12kw synerji ) just 6 panels per input ( 3 strings, 2 panels per string ) and is producing 1,98kw of power on input1 Dont understand why this would be, advice would be appreciated
  6. Does have the two double breakers at the bottom, my pv volts are around 105v i have 4 strings with 3 panels on a string, with 2 string combiner boxes, i havent tried swopping pv1 and pv2, would that make a difference, both string combiner boxes are exactly the same I read in the manual that there are 2 60A mppt built in I have installed 3 of these invertors and all are giving me about the same readings
  7. Checked the fuses and none have popped, the invertor has a 120A mppt, i installed as per supplier suggestions, 12 panels on pv1 and 12 panels on pv2, apperently that is the max amount of panels i can install
  8. Hi all Just installed a 12kw offgrid synerji invertor with 24 270w panels, the invertor has 2 pv inputs so i put 12 panel on pv1 and 12 on pv2 ( strings of 3 panels in series ), but on the invertor screen it shows that i am generating 2,8kw on pv1 and pv2 shows amps, if my load exceeds 3kw the invertor bypasses and draws from the grid, anybody have any advice, i thought with those panels i would at least be able to generate 6kw of power Thank you
