  5. Hello Hannes Did you come right?
  6. Hello I need urgent expert advice please, none Sunsynk or Bluenova wants to assist me. I have Sunsynk 8kw inverter with 2 BN52V-100-5.2k DU batteries connected in parallel and connected with CAN port. The system have been running for a year 100%. A Week ago the BMS on inverter just get stuck so I cant see the SOC of the batteries or what the batteries is currently doing. Rebooting the system it works again but only for like 4 hours and it freeze again. What could cause this? Sunsynk checked and they say they dont see any issue and say I have to upgrade battery firmware. Is this a inverter issue or battery issue and is it possible to upgrade firmware of batteries?
  7. Thank you for everyones replies, that makes sense, just weird that the inverter on some days shows it incorrectly and then other days it works 100%
  8. Hello, I assume you talking about your master slave settings on the batteries?
  9. Hello, I got a electrician to install a diode on my DB that connected on my geyser. The Diode is suppose to reduce the KW the geyser puts out. So the geyser is 4kw with the Diode it must only put out 2KW. The weird thing is when I check my solar it does not use 2KW it uses full 4KW and in some days and most days it does that and some days it does work with only 2KW. Why does this happens? Is it something I am not clearly understand?
  10. I have found the problem, it was on my Wifi for some reason after firmware update on my router got more advanced setting for 2.4 wifi that did not work with the sunsynk dongle had to put wifi on Legacy for Legacy devices
  11. Hello mzezman no wifi have changed, I checked the channels no issue there. We live far from other people so it should not interfere
  12. Hello, I have my system for 7 months now and my datalogger always just worked. Now suddenly it keeps loosing connection from my wifi. Can any one help me with this or must i replace it under warranty?
  13. Hello Coulumb thank you! I see the cycle charge is 14.4 - 14.7 So must I take the highest? 29,4? And the standby is 13.6-13.8 and 27.6V?
  14. Its OmniPower 2 x 240ah AGM Batteries
  15. Hello thank you, will look into it, my batteries is in a really bad stage now it dont even last a hour the voltage drops really quickly and getting really high midpoint.
  16. Hello Plonkster how can i give the batteries a proper charge? Can I use my inverter?
  17. Hello I have adjusted the voltage but did not see any improve ment yet.. I dont know anyone with batteries like these thats why I am reaching out on here
  18. Helllo the Bulk is on 28.2V and Float is 27V i shared the screenshot for the battery specs. Not sure what the cycle and stanby voltage is? Is it the same as bulk and float? And why is it showing 14V?
  19. Hello DeepBass9 yes thats also a issue get really high midpoint alert and when that alert comes on thats when the voltage started to drop quickly The charge setting is on default I use a Axpert inverter. 3KVA. The bulk charging is 30A What other of the charging do you want?
  20. Hello GVC Thank you, will test it
  21. Hello i have 2 x 240ah omni power batteries. They are brand new. Was working 100% was getting 12 hours on them. I am not running solar just eskom power that charge it. I use a 712 bmv to monitor. Recently the batteries is dropping voltage really fast i cant be on for a hour and the system shutsdown. Also my inverter is acting strange it goes into this error state but the batteries is not even at 21v cut off then the inverter goes to red light and shuts everything down. Please see screenshots below. must i change anything on inverter from bulk charging or the float charge? This feels almost to me the batteries does not get charged properly. Because when i put the power back on it shows quickly that the batteries is fully charged in a couple of minutes this not right. Before it would have charge the amount of hours that it run off the batteries
  22. Hello Jaco, cant see any dusts on components, I am sending unit in its faulty
  23. Hello Jaco, thank you. I checked this morning mine don't have filters the vents is just open without a filter on the sides, I will also just check if all the fans is running fine. How can I check the firmware? and is there newer firmware out?
  24. Hello Jaco, thank you! Where does the filters sits? Do I need to disconnect the inverter to blow out and clean filters?
