i understand what u are saying but he said it different he said he disconnected the inverter which means all solar is disconnected u cant connect solar panels staright into AC its impossible so i think he edited what he said to correct what he said

you really dont make sense its litterly impossible to say you "disconnected the inverter then still run on solar and mains" you need as inverter just to use the solar in the first place you cant use solar directly into mains impossible its not even the same energy being generated

yip i ordered one today..last time the 4 x 5kw batteries are so freaking heavy ..took 2 of us just to lift them out of the boxes lololol back breaking stuff was so heavy i transported them on my trolly to get thm closer to their installation racks and so this new one will be in the range of 150kgs also gonna have to transport it on a trolly i believe they come packed in wooden storage crates because of the weight and protection needed

so tell me which is a way to get a battery "read" if there is no comms port on it it has a BMS but how to get info from it if there is no port on it? any one know is their a inverter that does it or is their a 3rd part dongle or need to open that battery and plug wires into it from the inside im asking i dont know how would one get info for a battery without a port or screen on it

this is very strange that the BMS didnt work or failed or was not programmed correctly i hope not all manufacturers have this issue seems most use the same BMS in batteries across the board i have read of the different names of BMS being used by manufacturers they mostly share the same common thing but then you do get some that produce and make their own ones for certain combined setups

i agree correct parameters makes a difference..but BMS will allow or not the charges that come in

if one inverter handles a lot of batteries at the same time..usally or logically there would be voltage drop..so there is zero damage ..no over voltage..no heat..again no damage under current allways is no heat= no damage over voltage allways leads to damage in the long run but we have a middle man called BMS that stops all over voltage and regulates it to the batteries so no damage

interesting so every battaery even different manufacturers all have BMS built in these days so the BMS protects the battery the invereter just sends electrical charges so it spossible then to have different manufacturers on the same pararalel connection..not series

my current batteries are 16 cell this battery on wheels i dont know how they work inside no idea if its cells or blades

if i may ask...the 4 x 5kw batteries i have in parralele is life-po batteries in rack form stacked so u say i can use the other one on wheels and connect it also in parralele to these other batteries\and choose lead acid charge mode is this correct?

good day I believe that a inverter sends the electrical charge to the battery now the built -in BMS of the battery itself controls the flow of electricity coming into it as well what is going out the BMS knows its full of charge so if the electricty comes by it will just say NO to taking more charges so even if different batteries are connected form different manufacturers the build in BMS still controls the flow i dont see how any of the batteries can get damaged the inverter just sends signals and the BMS just says its full i have been wqatching closely at my inverter if there is a need to charge batteries it pulls power from the solar panels if no need the solar panels are at rest also and the batteries rest if nothing is being used still my point is i dont see a issue with connecting different brands because of the BMS controlling everything in the battery it will take a charge until its full so if i have 2 different batteries for example one charges full,,BMS keeps it full and the inverter will keep sending a charge to second battery until that ones BMS says its full so this has nothing to do with the inverter however some systems are designed with batteries and inverters to fit one another ...same brand etc.....to communicate that way some systems are made as a unit..i see why those can not be mixed around then other brands are free to go connect to batteries to any inverter without issues some BMS states that they can handle so many situations of different currents flowing for protection..the BMS protects the battery but most people say its not a good thing and another solar place i spoke to agrees with me so is there a issue after all?

Good day Any one have experience with 51.2V 280AH or 314AH or 325AH or 345AH batteries..they do come in 10kw to 14kw or 17kw they stand on wheels and are weighing 125 to 150kgs ECCO and Sun Solar and SVolt makes these get one of these types or 3 x 5kw batteries so i do have 4 x 5kw rack batteries i want to connect this thing also in parallel to it so that they all work as one unit BMS controls anyway all the flow self regulating i dont see a problem any suggestions ?

I did phone them first thing they ask is you have complaints or you need assistance anyway so they told me the R batteries are refurbished ..like if there was a dead cell they replaced it and then put a new cover on and selll it,,so they told me 3 times these batteries do have cycles on them so its kinda like second hand batteries and the price is way to hefty for second hand batteries the B range is all new cells so far i have not decided to taketheir batteries been shopping around and found other brands ..also very price competitive

Good day i want to know what is the reviews or experiences on Revov batteries i spoke litterly to 2 people the last 2 weeks. one guy said he has no issues....he uses it and second guy works at a electric hardware shop that sells every thing electrical to solar--now he said he hates Revov and it has absolutely negative experiences with it as well as customers that has majour issues with it and build quality is the unbelivable words he spoke of it hes facial expressions says enough so i have other lithium batteries and need to expand ....so im looking for rack batteries 51.2kw range i saw Revov pop-up alot on Facebook as i was scrolling so im tryiung to find out the truth wats the warrenty or gaurentee or after sales service on these Revov batteries any one have info ?

LOL gonna use examples here companies like "Wootware" and "Cash Build" i can pay them money and they put in credit ..and it builds up..costs nothing..loose nothing until i am ready saved up enough then i buy the computer parts i want or stock i want its very easy its not a bank its a company where i buy stuff ocasionaly looking for a company where i can do the same to build up credit to buy solar batteries no need to save in a bank

Hi i want to know is there any companies in south africa ..reputable and trustworthy where i can just pump money into weekly or monthly as i feel so that it becomes credit for me until i have enough to buy a solar batterry i feel i need to do this with a electrical company that sells solar equipment i need 48v battery in the pylon tech or li-ion ranges that is what i am aiming for i allready have the 5kw inverter and solar panels Thanks in advance Dennis

ok so far thanks to everyone so if im correwct here it seems that the 1070 uses 33 cents an hour for gaming and using the 3080 would use 77 cents an hour this would make sense i will just work out the whole system with monitor to get an estimate

this kinda maths of electricty costs is hard for me so i have been gaming on the 1070 150watt rated for many years so my current electrical bill is like R600 a month i do game often but as i have tested in game using MSI Afterburner it displays on screen the wattage of the gpu so this 1070 i have seems to hover from 130-160 continuesly depending on game so if i spent R6oo i get 273 units which is roughly R2.20 per unit i use on average 10 units a day so MSI afterburner shows the cores of the gpu using 1030mv during gaming and when idle not gaming is at 0,625mv the 3080ti uses average 900mv during gaming i dont understand if it uses 1mv how can one gpu draw more power at 0.900mv allthough the 3080 is on a newer node of 8nm thats why i want to know will my electrical bill increase by much if i use the 3080ti at 350 watts so thanks for the help so far i woud like to ask is the 2 above replies the same in correctness of money spent per hour
