Repair person required in Cape Town area for an Axpert/Mecer 5KW hybrid, off grid inverter, solar relay not kicking in.
Axpert SOL-I-AX-5M, inverter, is not connecting solar inpout to inverter. I can hear the relay switch clicking in and then dropping out immediately. Is there someone in the Paarl, greater Cape Town area who still does repairs? Fishing rod needed here. I'm aware it is now a discontinued product. However, it should a simpole repair for the person who knows how. Thanks Andy

KodakOG Plus 5.48 - alarm 70, batteries 13% what to do
I have the battery set to Pylon, on advice from Greenrich. I will set to USE as this is an alternative I note another greenrich battery user has his set on.

Help required: 5KW off-grid inverter not responding to input from 5Kw petrol generator. Running the generator does not power the load, nor does it charge the batteries. Watchpower does not suggest anythinng wqrong. where have I gone wrong? System Three x JA Solar 60S20 R385Wp panels in series. Two x Greenrich UP3686 5KW 50V LI Batteries in parallel One Kodak OG Plus hybrid 5.48KW inveter. back-up generator Honda EZ6500CX 5.5kVA Environment: small cotage tucked away in the Bainskloof Pass in the mountains, Western Cape, South Africa.(UTC+2) No utility energy supply available. Only energy - wind, LPG gas, solar power and petrol generator All domestic activity run on lpg gas or solar power. Problem. Despite following the manual, the gnerator-power is not been acknowledged by the inverter. Running the generator does not power the load, nor does it charge the batteries. Watchpower does not suggest anything wrong. where have I gone wrong? I can power all load from generator alone (if coupled direct to DB board), but thats not the solution. System self-installed 1st August 2022. Has run perfectly without need for assistance from petrol generator. However we have just endured 7 days of almost total cloud cover (284mm rainfall) with not more than 3 hours pf sunlight.

KodakOG Plus 5.48 - alarm 70, batteries 13% what to do
I used four 12 batteries in series to couple in parallel to my two Greensrich 3686 (parallel) and this brought the system to life. Kept coupled for not more than 30 minutes to get some life into system. Then disconnected the 12V battery chain. Now solar seems to have pickedup and system is running. Watching carefully as it recovers and not using any load for now. Allowoing the two Greenrich batteries to restore to 6 lights first. We are totally off-grid. No sun = No power. System as been fine since installation Aug 2022. survives two full days of cloud. This last week of 6 days with no more than 3 hours sunlight has meant the system went down. Should have shut down automatically??? Cannot undersdtand why not.

KodakOG Plus 5.48 - alarm 70, batteries 13% what to do
Good day friends, What does alarm code 70 mean? not in my handbook. Three x JR385Wp panels in series. Two x Greenrich U=P3686 5KW 50V LI Batteires One Kodak OG plus 5.48 No excom power, totally off-grid. Used to give power to small cottage. 6 days cloud, system shut down, had to connect four 12 v batteries in series to get the system to power up. Therafter it started to charge and batteires inidicate normal charging. But not getting above one of the 6 charge status lights. Watchpower says batteries at 13% Inverter display syas alarm 70 and the battery icon is flashing Should I be worried, or just givie it time?

Axpert 3KVA 24V off-grid system will not power on anymore
Ok, I think I found the problem, Menu 01 the battery selected was AGM and not 'user defined'. this means the menus 26, 27, 28 were not invoked. I rerset and set the low voltage cut-off to 23 volts. So far, all going well. Battery charging up nicely and the off-grid power supply is functioning as planned. Thanks for the comments and sharing your knowledge. I sure am relieved.

Axpert 3KVA 24V off-grid system will not power on anymore
What I cannot grasp, is how the BMS allowed the battery to discharge so much.

Axpert 3KVA 24V off-grid system will not power on anymore
Thanks GMAC, this certainly helps. I'll put a Optimate smaert charger on it and let it recover. And see if this helps. RThe root cause of this is still not known. Jsut hope the Hubble is not lost.

Axpert 3KVA 24V off-grid system will not power on anymore
Scorp, its a Hubble AM4 2.75 KW 25.5 and a model prior to ones that have a coms link with inverter. However, once I do have full power, I will investigate why it never cut out at the minimum setting, which I think was 22V. Agree, inverter should never have let battery run down to 4 Volts.

Axpert 3KVA 24V off-grid system will not power on anymore
You can sound the all clear. I connected two 12V battries in series and the invertwer powered up fine. It is charging the batteries and seems soon the Hubble will be above minimum level and able to fend for itself. Now to set system so it shuts down at 22 volts and does not run dowqn to 4 volts.

Axpert 3KVA 24V off-grid system will not power on anymore
Good Day Community, My System has been running faultlessly for 2 years. One year ago I replaced the 200AH AGM batteries with one Hubble 24V battery and it worked much better. Recently, we hade many days of cloud cover and everything ran flat. Now the sun has returned, battery reads 4V. Incoming voltage reads 130V off the three 330Wp panels (in series). But neither the reset button, nor toggling on/off inverter will elicit any life from the inverter. Can this be because the battery is too flat? Surely inverter can still run or at least show life from panels? What to do?

axpert mks 3kp-24 plus AC generator not charging when inverter is ON
Hi, pls direct me to correct post if one deals with this. Problem: AC generator not charging the batteries if the inverter is switched on. Connected 1kw generator to supplement solar panels because have cloud cover. However, AC charges the 24V Battery pack (two 200AH 12V Ross deep cycle AGM's) only if I switch the inverter off. If I switch it on, to goes direct to the load supply and not the battery charge as well. System config: 2 panels (SRP-330-6PA) in series (New Jan 2020) axpert mks 3kp-24 plus (New Jan 2020) 2 Ross S12-230AGM deep cycle batteries (new Dec 2019) in series. Totally off-grid out in Bainskloof, dependant upon the power from the solar system. borrowed standby 1kw petrol driven generator. But generator is not charging battery and supplying load. Its either, or. not both. Have to switch off the inverter to charge battery. This must be a setting feature.
