I've started looking at the external and presume the PV must then be connected to the charger. If that's the case, then I lose the ability for solar energy running my house when there is excess power? Or can it still be configured to operate more or less like it does now with the built-in charging?

Hi, I want to upgrade the firmware on my inverter that was sold as an Axpert since I suspect it's not charging correctly - seems to misinterpret battery SOC and switching to float too early. I've been going through the various posts on upgrading and there appear to be so many different models as well as the possibility that mine could be a clone. I'd really appreciate assistance with identifying my model and recommending the best firmware version to upgrade to. Thanks in advance!
