We have a Smile 5 Alpha ESS inverter CONNECTed to the Grid with storage , It mode of Operation is It work as Grid-tied and when the Grid is not available it work as UPS and when Grid returns it switches off UPS Mode and then back to grid-tied,.
So we have a new problem/or scenario that we don't understand. We had Load-shedding (Muncipality interuption) for 2hrs for which the Inverter was working as UPS and as soon as the grid came back after 2hrs it tripped immediately and then again the Grid tried to comeback it tripped again(All of this is happening at the Utility Grid side, which affects us,). After this inverter didn't carry on working at UPS Mode as it was suppose to, it kept coming "on" and "off" instead of restoring to supply load as UPS on itself. Until We came on site and Restarted the inverter and it began to work normally.
I want to know does Municipality grid coming on and Off consistantly over short span of time(Due to probably Auto Reclosers) can it cause inverter to isolated itself until you have to physically need to restart it?
When we were onsite we also notice no Breaker was Down.
