12V Pressure switch
With the current load-shedding and water becoming the next concern, we are considering a water backup solution. Due to the inverter not being big enough to handle a pressure pump as well, we would like to do an off-grid 12/24V setup. 12/24V pumps are readily available, however, the pressure switches are nowhere to be found. Does anyone know of a low-voltage pressure switch? The only alternative is something like this: https://www.waterpumps.co.za/product/12-volt-dc-003-diaphragm-pump/ This however feels a bit light to give water to a small home...... Any help is appreciated.

Cheapest PV grid blend inverter
Thanks zsde! Tried Google for the Must Power inverters, but not finding nearly as much as for the usual Growatt and Axpert inverters. The website looks legit though.....

Cheapest PV grid blend inverter
So finally connected my small UPS with a 1000W Axpert inverter to the house and reckon adding a solar panel or two, won't do any harm. The problem is all the small Axpert inverter can't blend PV and Eskom to feed the house (either one or the other). We have no need for an large 5kW+ inverter and never intend to go of-grid. What is the cheapest and smallest true hybrid inverter available? Appreciate any help!

Solar geyser choices
So I finally ordered an ITS EV tube collector and need some info from people who have installed EV tubes before. My Questions: 1. SR81 or Geyserwise controller? - SR81 claims to be better, but more expensive. 2. 12V or 220V pump? - Worried about pump not working during load shedding or cloudy days. 3. Anti Siphon Loop? - Should these still be installed if there is non-return valves already installed. Any help is appreciated.

Geyserwise PV conversion
Thanks so much for all the info thus far. For me currently Flat plate seems the best option. It is cheapest and safest. The Geyserwise is really nice but according to my maths (might not be 100% accurate, but should be a good estimate), the geyserwise PV system will not get the geyser warm enough during then day, thus ending up paying Eskom more. I have attached my maths, should anybody be interested... For me the ROI on a Flat plate is around 3 years, even less if Eskom keeps messing up like they are doing right now. The most expensive part is the installation, as the going rate in the Lowveld is around R8k for a days work. If you are up to installing a PV geyser system yourself, any other solar geyser shouldn't be that much more difficult to install.

Geyserwise PV conversion
Has anyone actually installed one? What savings are you getting? Are your geysers almost off grid? For 2 of us we have a 200L geyser, I want to convert. Reasons for considering Geyserwise PV: - DIY installation possible (No plumbing required) - At around 17k is is chepaer than EV. - ROI is about 4years if almost no Eskom is needed. An help is appreciated as this all very new.
