Luxpower 6000WPV and PYLONTECH 3000C
I have communication issues between my Luxpower 6000WPV and my Pylontech batteries. The only setting that creates communication is Lead-acid and then the communication is also faulty. For instance when the battery is fully charged the inverter indicates only 85% full. My supplier sent both batteries to the Pylontech suppliers who tested both batteries and declared the one battery faulty and Pylontech then declared the warranty null and void giving overcharging as excuse. The brand new battery (declared not faulty) however still does not communicate with the inverter properly. Any one else with similar issues?

Lux Sna5000 Fan Speed Setting
After Luxpower updated my inverters' firmware there was a drastic change in the fans noise level. Not so noisy anymore.

Axpert Synapse King 5kw
Thank you, Coulomb. I do not see any version number on the side sticker of my inverter. I tried to attach a photo, but it was rejected as to big. Can the bar code help?

Axpert Synapse King 5kw
I recently replaced my 6 year old RCT Axpert 5kw inverter with an Axpert Synapse King 5kw. I made some observations that I do not understand: 1. The fan(s) of the Synapse comes on as soon as loading starts and increase in speed (and noise) as loading increase. The fans of the RCT only came on when the loading has increased to a capped kw. 2. In both the SUB and SBU settings in 02 the Synapse switches/ alternates between solar and battery/utility when battery is fully loaded and the household load is under 100w. Why does it not stay on solar - even when the panels provide enough watts? 3. When the Synapse is charging the battery with solar the fan increase and decrease in speed with the changes in the brightness of the sun. The brighter the sun the higher the speed of the fan. Can anyone explain, please. A general observation: The Synapse is less gittery than the RCT. The RCT more often and quickly gave an alarm and switched to utility when the load reached more than 2kw. The Synapse however remains stable even with the load near 3kw and with the pylontech at 48v. David

Axpert inverter reset after shut down
Yes, there was a click sound as well. Unfortunately I am not that handy.

Axpert inverter reset after shut down
My Axpert inverter did shut down with all three lights flashing every second. I was unable to see any fault code before the shut down. I have tried to reset it but the lights start flashing again after I have reconnected the battery (Pylontech US3000 48v). I presume it did shut down because of overload. Can you help me to reset the system please.

Calculating volts and amps of panels first connected in series and then in parallel

Calculating volts and amps of panels first connected in series and then in parallel
Thanks Jay-Dee. The fuse is a Bussmann ETN Series 1000V dc 30 amp. How can I check the MAX / Peak current?

Calculating volts and amps of panels first connected in series and then in parallel
I have 4 Canadian 320w panels connected. They are divided into 2 strings of 2 panels each and then connected in parallel with y-MC4 connectors. The Voc of each panel is 45v and their Imp 8amp. Am I correct in calculating their combined volts as 90 and their amps as 16? Is the 30amp of the fuse in the combiner box high enough for their current?

How to deal with EMI interference from inverter
Any tips on how I can get rid of the EMI noise on our hifi and radio from my Axpert 5kw inverter?

Connecting panels
Louis, Just to make sure I understand you correctly: what I currently have is four panels that are connected in serie 2X2 strings and then joined with y-connectors. Does that make it a parallel connection? How do you choose between parallel or serie connections? What are the pros and cons?

Connecting panels
Thanks. I was advised to connect them in series of 3x2. Can I still keep the existing 4 combined on the roof connected to the combiner box with only the 2 existing cables?

Connecting panels
Hi. I have an Axpert 5kwa inverter with 1 pylontech 3.5kw battery and 4 canadian 320w panels. The 4 panels are in 2 strings of 2 each combined on the roof with 2 y-shaped MC4 connectors. I have bought 2 more panels (330w) with a combiner box with place for 6 strings of panels. Should I separate the 4 existing panels into 2 strings or can I keep them combined?
