Thank you Columb for your help. I however failed to repair the inverter BUT I was contacted by Reinier who lives in Wolmaransstad and I live in Cape town. he told me what to do to repair the inverter The Problem was that I didn't replace all the components that he asked me to replace. Hence the problem wasn't resolved. He then offered to pay for the courier service from my home and back as a favour to me. I trusted that he will be honest enough to fix and return the inverter. I must say after chatting to Reinier it restored my faith that there are good honest ppl still left in this world. And extremely knowledgeable. He knows these inverters inside out. I promise anyone who listens to Reiniers Problem solving tips will save you a lot of time and money. He had the inverter fixed in 20 minutes after it landed on his table and sent me proof that it was working..even replaced those SMDs that i was advised to replace but those SMDs wasnt the problem. I dont think it will be fair for me to give away his trade secrets lol. I will let him decide if he wants to or not .lol I'm not sure if Reinier is available to help but my experience with Reinier and his extreme honesty knowledge and kind heart really blew me away. Is it worth taking out the others that measures 330k ohms in line?

Hello Columb Yes the resistors measured in  kΩ I took the R140 out of the circuit and it measured 330 kΩ do you think its necessary to remove other resistors and measure or rather look elsewhere for a Problem?

Hi Columb I found a discrepancy in the R130 and R140 resistors R130 measures 0.226 R140 measures. 067 Yet both resistors are the same. Could this mean a Problem with resistors? Also the board is not dusty..it seems like the coating has faded.

I need to locate the circuit to determine if resistors are blown or faulty. Can it be just a software Problem Columb?

Yes its Mks. Will the resistors be under the board? Because theres something preventing the board from lifting up after I removed most of the screws.

Hi Columb My main board seems different from the pic you sent to me. Even the resistors are numbered different. See the picture attached. I'm not sure if the 4 resistors are the voltage divider circuit. Please help

Voltage from PV Good Day My inverter stated to act up this Morning. I noticed that the inverter is displaying much higher voltage than what the PV is pushing out. I then connected just 1 panel which is 48 volts I noticed Inverter displays around 80..if I connect 2 panels the inverter solar voltage goes over the 145Volts and cuts out the solar charging.. I measured the voltage from solar with multi meter and its not the same as what the inverter is displaying. Please help...

Is it safe to auto Restart inverter when overloaded? Loadshedding is causing overload everytime eskom restores the power. Especially when batteries are low. 06 set to Ltd want to reset to LtE

I have 1 x 4.8kwh 100amp h battery ..it was fully charged by solar. Bulkcharge voltage set to 56.4v Floating charge voltage set to 54v Low DC cut off voltage set to 42v Overload bypass is enabled. I was expecting it to use battery solar and first.. But I realised that it's set to go to line mode if the overload in battery is detected. But just wondering is the battery can deliver 5kva for at lease a short while before inverter switches to grid?

Hi I noticed that when the load increases the inverter switches to grid. See pic. Is there a setting where it can use both grid solar and battery ..the battery was fully charged

I have a mecer 5kva inverter and..thanks bloubul7 .I see the setting 16..only solar charges battery..hopefully when battery is low it will automatically use grid power to power the house...I'll test it tonight

Hello... I noticed that its more expensive to charge batteries from the Grid. Is there a way to automatically prevent the inverters from charging batteries using grid at night? Instead it must resort to the use of grid power..

Good Day guys and thanks for all your advice..I've got my solar up and running. I split the 3 phases and connected 2 phases to 2 x 5kv inverters with separate batteries. I fitted breakers and change over switches..it all looks good. 1. Can I parallel batteries so that when the load demand gets greater on one phase both batteries can be used to supply the demand? 2. Is there a way to record what the solar system is doing for a 24 hour period? Is there a way I can monitor how many times the grid is charging batteries at night. And if there is a need for the grid to charge batteries during the day?. Please advise Thank you.
