  1. @solarcovert, couldn't you just connect your non-essentials to the aux port without the switch over? I struggle to see the benefit of the switch over in this case. I want to do the very same thing. I'm tired of having to pull the extension cord to the bathroom for the minigeza to heat up the water when the loadshedding schedule is bad or when we have extended power outages. What I've also observed is that the deye seems to be using Eskom side when devices are spiking up the energy draw, and when the spike goes down the energy draw continues on the inverter. Would something like that be the benefit of your setup. I speak under correction on the issue of balancing out the energy spike.

  4. I've learned to live with it. Me and of of the guys who came to install were the only ones who could hear the sound. Everyone else, my family and the rest of the team that came to install, could not hear the buzzing sound. Maybe we have some strange super power laying dormant in us.
  5. Did you find a solution? I have the same experience with my recent installation. I use pylon batteries. I get the buzz sound, most audible on the microwave and less so on the fridge.
  6. Hi Everyone, First post on this forum. I've learned a lot from the discussions here that I ended up doing a Deye inverter installation for my home. I know very little about electricity, so I hired an electrician to do the installation. The system works well, except for the export to CT function. When this function is switched on, the total home consumption shows 9.8kw when I do not have anything big switched on (geyser and stove off, only computer and fridge running). When I switch off the export to CT function, total home consumption goes back to about 0.3kw. CT coil is installed. Has anyone had this issue before, and what could be the solution to this?
