This chart is from an Axpert King install, although you will get the same from an Axpert Max, InfiniSolar V2, etc. As the day starts and PV gets generated, the Grid power used becomes less and less. This is SUB mode and is commonly used.
The cheaper and older axperts doesn't have an SUB, they have Utlity and SBU, which gives them a hard cutover to and from grid:
