Deye 8kw RS485 not responding after firmware upgrade
After the firmware upgrade of Deye 8kw to COMM e41c and MCU 6005 it's not responding to modbus requests anymore via RS485 port. It still responds via RS232/WIFI port. Has anyone found the same issue? Worked fine before firmware upgrade.

Fact check: Axpert/King vs Victron video
In the installs you mention, which models were used? This chart is from an Axpert King install, although you will get the same from an Axpert Max, InfiniSolar V2, etc. As the day starts and PV gets generated, the Grid power used becomes less and less. This is SUB mode and is commonly used. The cheaper and older axperts doesn't have an SUB, they have Utlity and SBU, which gives them a hard cutover to and from grid:

ICC solar program stops
@George Basson If I may make a suggestion: try the trial version of solar assistant. It's basically a drop in replacement for ICC just much better. I contacted info@... to get a trial: https://solar-assistant.io/help/getting_started/prepare_device I also started out with ICC: https://powerforum.co.za/topic/7739-icc-software-ends-inadvertently/#comment-88583

Pylontech US3000c
Interesting I'll also try and make one myself. Previously I bought one here for R650: https://solar-assistant.io/shop It seems like the CenturionSolar/ICC pylontech cable works on SolarAssistant and vice versa. Software is significantly different though.

ICC software ends inadvertently
It's definitely an issue with ICC software and not an AC spike. The operating system and everything remains stable while only ICC hangs. I switched all 3 sites to a Solar Assistant SD card and now everything works great with a real mobile app, not a remote desktop or emoncms. https://powerforum.co.za/topic/7412-free-solar-monitoring-device-voltronic-inverters/

ICC software ends inadvertently
I used ICC at 3 sites where it hanged from time to time at all 3. Never was sorted out. I was also told in Feb 2020 that new software is on it's way
