  2. Hi, I have two chinese controllers and a midnite, when the midnite gets the battery to 14.4 (4s Lifepo4) It will start free spinning the turbine, I'm using some resistors and a dumpload controller to stop this from happening. I also have two chinese wind controllers which are mppt dc- dc they work very well and they have an internal dumpload I have all of the controller directly connected to batteries as going through the BMS caused me an overvoltage situation on the device side of the bms. which made 50v go to my 12v devices ! good fun that was. This pylon batteries probably wont allow to bypass bms connection so you might have to set a dumpload controller lower that the bms overvoltage setting. The best thing to do is to test it out to see what happens but make sure you are there to make a change if things do go wrong. if you want to look at what controllers I have heres the link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwW9OBRok9OYV9vaZfBMniQ I have three turbines all chinese. Hope this helps Jon
