Jose de Sousa reacted to Coulomb in New to SolarThat's a small battery for a large inverter.
Without a cable to the battery's BMS, the inverter will be guessing based on battery voltage, and assuming it's a lead acid battery as well. So it will be hopelessly wrong.
I'm not aware of any way that Watchpower can switch over at a given SOC percentage. But I'm not familiar with the Android version.
That's just not possible without the appropriate cable.
That sounds like the battery's BMS disconnected due to the inverter over-charging the battery (battery voltage too high). Without any cable, presumably they are using battery type = USE (user supplies battery voltage settings), and they set the voltage too high. For reasons I don't understand, battery manufacturers seem to recommend ridiculously high voltage settings, and installers tend to follow these bad recommendations.
As for why the battery would not restart, I have no idea.
What is the model of the battery?
