AICC now supports local and cloud emon servers. You can now run your emon server on the PI or another local server on your network. We will also support posting to both local and cloud soon.

I have updated the local , please don't forget to put a backslash ( / ) at the end of the address. As JDP stated both working and tested.

Local emon, very easy to use and fast

Look really good Manie. I will have to learn about using Emon. You and Jaco did the Voltronic inverter users a great favour to create AICC and the Remote Dashboard. Worth every cent and it just keeps getting better. As a suggestion for the future, the creator of Blueiris CCTV program that we use to monitor our village cameras, charges 50% of full price for a major upgrade. Maybe you guys could consider a similar approach when the time comes.

Hi guys ,

Just some info, The local service of emon is running extremely stable and a lot faster. Whats nice about is that you will never lose data because it runs local. Just open a port on your router and you can access it from outside , faster than emoncms.org. There are also more custom chart and gauges.

Yes. Just google emon on raspberry pi. Just whatsapp me then i will help

Cobus we are building a web interface for AICC. So then you dont have to VNC or Teamviewer into the PI to set things. Once we have it all build then we will create a custom image that you can flash to a SD card and just run. But that will be next year some time as we are working on a big project at the moment.

The CCGX has an awesome we-based vnc client. It's open.

Plonky we are going to close down the image. We find that a lot of people don't know Linux and we have to spend a lot of time sorting out normal IT stuff that has nothing to do with AICC like wifi not working, file permissions and power adapters. Most people are not IT gurus. We help out yes but it is using up time we don't have. It has nothing to do with VNC in a browser. We want to make it plug and play. It was fun building it and we know what to do to get it installed. But not everybody has the knowledge.
