Axpert Control Software - Beta

Software to monitor and control the range of Axpert and Infini Inverters

  1. Started by incagarcilaso,

This seems to have been removed from the AICC website. Have just managed to set up my Raspberry Pi (bought for AICC) but now cannot download the software. Please let me know where the .rar is available. Thanks.

hi folks i know there must be a simple answer to this but i can't work it out under icc v1.2.5 the program sees the inverter [inverter comms red/green flashes top right of dashboard] but there are no readings and under tab 'Threads Info' i get [see image please] any assistance out there? in Christ gabriel ps i can send more images...

  5. The Infini 5k can do a max of 5kW load and grid-tie combined and an additional 4.8kW of battery charge. So, by adding a cheap sine wave inverter (Axpert), the full PV capability can be used without a huge battery bank. This arrangement allows one to use as much battery as one is comfortable to use on a daily basis, while being seamless in load shedding. Some simple switching gives one full access to the full 10kW off-grid if required.

  9. I've got a raspberry pi3 with raspbian OS. I've put AICC sofware on it following instructions and started program but I didn't work. I can't click Start button, is not available and I guess it might be because of not getting trial key? Is that right? How can I get trial key to test AICC on Axpert 2k4 plus inverter? Thanks

I have added the invini v series , single and cluster. @virge is testing the single and Toitjie is testing 4 inverters (cluster) to make sure everything is working.

  11. Hello everyone. I'm trying to test AICC for Pi in a Linux Mint Operating system. This OS is based on Ubuntu that uses Debian, so I guess that if I strictly follow installation instructions, I'll work on this OS. AICC is an application that works on PI so it should work on other OS based on Debian, shouldn't it? The point is that after following installation instructions, when I run executable AICC, it displays an error. AICC: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")") I don't know how to handle this error because it's impossible to modify the executable AICC. What is wrong? Any suggestion? Only works on Raspbian? I'm checking this option …

Hi all. We are picking up that some people have their single inverters set to master for parallel mode and then select the single inverter in AICC. This will create some issues as the protocol if different. Please make sure that your inverter is in single mode if you dont have a cluster set-up (You should not see the HS on the front panel). If you do have a cluster then set one as the master en select the cluster set-up in AICC. Dont run your single as a cluster and choose cluster on AICC also. Make sure your mode is correct.

AICC now supports local and cloud emon servers. You can now run your emon server on the PI or another local server on your network. We will also support posting to both local and cloud soon.

Manie had the need to see what all his batteries are doing from a voltage point of view. Riaan then build a device to do that. Riaan gave us the permission to build this device and make it available as an add on to all AICC pi users. We are still plying around with some options but if users want it we will make it available. we will be able to monitor 4 or 8 batteries. we will be able to track the temperature of each battery as well at some stage.

  17. Started by ibiza,

I noticed this morning that battery is not charged even it was enough power coming from the panels. The value on the battery side shows -155W but inverters shows different value. I ma running 1.0.7 version for PI. After restarting the AICC everything back to normal. I wonder is there a problem with new version.

We just released 1.0.9 . It has a fix for the machine-id that changes. I am sorry but you will have to mail me one more time your new Machine-id so we can generate you a new key. But then it should not change again if you upgrade your pi with a apt-get upgrade.

Hi all. Just a quick one. We have not tested the 3 phase cluster set-up of the Axperts inverters. We have one person who have 6 Axperts in parallel running a 3 phase set-up. We will be testing it there but as we stand now we have not tested it and don't support it yet.

  21. Started by ColinvS,

The AICC development team has been absolutely awesome! The workings of the Infini 5kw with 10kw PV input splits the 10kw between 5kw grid / load and 4.8kw battery charge, with it requiring at least 5kw of PV before it allocates PV to the other choice. So on a cloudy day, with grid and load as priority, without enough PV then the batteries don't charge. If you change the priority then it charges the batteries first and by the time it gets to grid/load on a sunny day, the batteries are charged so never maximises the capability of the system. However with the new test version you can set the time to automatically swop over at a user set time e.g. priority of grid/lo…
