After account creation and login, add output.

Complete data of your system and settings.
He makes calculations automatically.

I have been on PVoutput since day 1, which was 1 January this year. Today has been my best day ever, clouds and all. I produced > 28.5 kwh for the day. That is not much compared to other guys that have 30, 40 or 60 panels, I only have 12 panels. My efficiency for the day was > 7.5. I have not been on the grid since 23h00 last night.

That is impressive. Well done. High efficiencies like that point to good orientation of your panels - appropriate cabling and obviously a good solar day. Get the first two wrong and  you will not get anywhere close.

Well done Don. 7.5 is excellent, as i always thought 6 is the value to aim for. My best is almost 4, What I have learned is that I do not have enough load during the day (150-300W). I have swopped out the 3kW element in the geyser for a 2kW unit, and put it on a timer, so between 11am - 1 pm my production climbs. I am busy adding another 100 l geyser, so i can have more load during the day (10am - 2pm), and only use the stored hot water for showering the next morning, That will save me 2 kW of grid per night, with enough hot water for the whole family. For rainy/too cloudy days like this morning, I will borrow from the grid.

Last month was my 1st full month (15th Jan- 15th Feb) on Solar and at home, and my Grid consumption was 372 units. My aim is to break 300 after feeder geyser addition. My Eskom account have dropped R1050 pm. My conservative BC (Business Case) aim was to save R1000(summer) - R1200(winter) pm, so I recon I'll get close after my geyser changes.
