Hello everyone,

I want to ask you for help. I bought an Easun ISolar SMV III 5K-48 inverter. The device was to operate for the first year as a backup power supply (4x70Ah batteries) and then be connected to the panels. It worked as a backup source for 4 days. The device started turning off the output at irregular intervals. In the end, it only works as an expensive battery charger. The seller "tried to help" until the "warranty period" ended. The device switches on if it is utility on, if I switch off the utility, the device does not switch to battery mode but switches off. Please help.

It looks like (e.g. from this page) that EaSun inverters are clones. If that's the case, it's hard to know what they copied incorrectly, what quality components they used, etc.

Is it sensitive to temperature? There was a post a week or two ago (from memory) about how some clone used the wrong type of temperature sensors, and temperature read backwards.
