IcePick1957 Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I have 2 pylontech UP2500 24v batteries installed, running with RCT AXPERT VMIII 24v 3kw inverter. According to PylonTech, the charging voltage should be between 28.3v - 28.5v. Normally cell voltage will be at 3.45volt nominal per cell. (I assume this is correct) So, 3.45v x 8 Cells = 27.6v nominal. Charging should be at least 3.46v - 3.50v to trigger balancing. This will give you around 27.8volts charging. (THIS IS HOW I UNDERSTAND THIS..) This is way lower than what PylonTech suggests. Currently I have 28.2v as my bulk charging and 28.1v as "float" voltage. Best is not to run high voltages on Lithium batteries for a long period. My aim is to run SOC between 90 and 95volts. Is this correct/good??? So, what I am asking here is, is my assumption correct here and what voltages I should use. Any advice\suggestions from you experts here will be appreciated. Quote

Devil inserted 90 to 95V instead of % for SOC. Quote
