May 21, 20224 yr Hi, so I bought a pps 3kva inverter and 2 x sealed 100ah lead acid batteries.. paid about 12k a year ago. My batteries have these inspection glass on top and both are green in colour. Research I done is that green means the batteries are still good.. question is, I only get about 2.5hrs but I’m only running like 180watts which in theory should give me roughly like 6hrs at 50% capacity? Are my batteries damaged? can I replace these batteries with 100ah lithium batteries? Saw them on takealot for like R7600? Is it even worth it? Or should I just replacement my whole system with like a sunsynk inverter.. looking for recommendations on a system that I can buy and expand with over time, maybe add solar panels so I’ll need something that can do solar panels. im okay with just getting through load shedding for now until I eventually start investing to get off the grid Edited May 21, 20224 yr by Derek Ramos

They have the 12V Hubble S-120 for a lot cheaper.
