Charles Salvador Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 I have recently had a hybrid 3.6kw solar system installed at my house, this is more power than i ever use so i am curious to find out why the control panel always shows a small amount of power, around 20 watts coming from the grid. Can anyone please enlighten me ? Quote
WannabeSolarSparky Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 (edited) Hi There, Depending on your inverter settings/type, that may be to prevent back-feed to the grid if its a grid-tie system. Else it could simply be the power required to keep the inverter alive. More info about your system may assist people giving more accurate answers Edited May 23, 2022 by WannabeSolarSparky Quote
