June 19, 20224 yr Very interesting concept and seems superior to traditional wind generators in every way. Easy to replace kite in case of damage, portable and much smaller and lighter to transport (it's basically a shipping container), cheaper, will perform at lower wind speeds and I assume it is fairly silent, doesn't kill birds etc. Current model maxes out at 200kw but their next MW model is coming in 2024.
