Li Iin batterys without BMS

Featured Replies

Hi . I seem to have an issue on my small 12v setup. The system went dead on me and when checking the bms only shows 0.3v ouput on . If I measure across the cells I get over 13v. I have 8 li ion cells 200a on a daly 12v 120a 4s bms. I want to know if i could temporarily bypass the bms and connect my batteries directly to the 12v inverter.

Yes you would. Just ensure that you don't discharge to lower than 12V and when you charge to over 14V.Then get a BMS soon.

Thanks. On it first thing Monday
