  1. Hi I am looking for some assistance please before I go mad. I have 2 victron mppt charge controllers 100/30 and 100/50 as well as a SRNE 60a charge controller. The 2 victrons each have 400w panels attached to them and the SRNE has 800W panel attached. I have 4 lithium cells 280ah with a JK BMS Early in the morning , my batteries are in a absorption state and show full charged on the controllers but the JK BMs shows a state of about 20% charge. I am not getting to a 80 % charge during the day. I have a fridge and a freezer and 2 laptops running on the power during the day. What am I doing wrong
  2. Hi I just also tested and it seems fine with a very small load. I am actually running my laptop at the moment. I agree there is an issue when going bigger but just does not seem right as the inverter is quite big with 2600w panels and should be able to handle the loads. My normal set up is a 12v 2000w pure sine wave inverter but with 280ah lithium cells and 1300w panels and I can basically run a washing machine and my fridges all at the same time
  3. Hi Thanks, yes getting ahead of myself but just not in a position to get the batteries at the moment. These seems to be lot of data on youtube saying it should work. I just wanted to try keep the power on to run my laptops and a fridge maybe. I still have my original 12v setup so I will just keep that running in the meanwhile as well.
  4. Hi Sorry for the delay in response. Thanks for the info. When checking I was getting just under the 150v needed from the 4 panels I have. I went yesterday to buy 2 more panels and having them fitted today.
  5. Hi I had a growatt 5000es inverter installed on 4 x 450w panels yesterday. I am trying to get the setup done as I am running with \out a battery. I have power coming in from the panels but nothing to my circuits. The datalogger also does not want to connect to my laptop or my phone shine app.
  6. Hi Tim The data cable does not seem to pick up the drivers when I have installed them.
  7. Hi Tim Ok I am not having any joy setting up the drivers for the data cable rs232. Are there any tricks or details you could please share .
  8. Hi Tim Thanks very much . I am gonna use these details and try setting it up again. I just seem to have an issue getting the drivers set-up and I am not able to change the com from COM7
  9. Hi did you ever come right with this software? I am trying to load iy but not having any joy
  10. Hi Dewald I would be interested if this unit is not taken. How old is the inverter ?
  11. Hi Would you be willing to accept R7000. for the inverter if it is still available?
  12. Thanks i will source a meter like this.
  13. Ok so I got the meter setup this morning. I have 4 100w panels connected and all seemed good for about an hour or so then the meter cut out. Think I might have blown it. It was supposed to be 100v and 100A meter so wondering now???
  14. Thanks everybody. I will try read up about the start voltage for the meter. I will give it a go in the morning
