DC-DC charger and Solar MPPT in one

Featured Replies

With the non stellar feedback on WRND solar products on the forum I would like to know what you think about this for vehicle use

They are just over R2400.

Claims to have a MPPT charger and DC-DC charger combined into one unit.

How can they combine both into such a small unit and sell it for such a low price.  Where is the catch?

Stand-alone mppt inverter/chargers are generally not expensive.

Everything I have seen so far is not cheap.  About R1500 and up to get 20A and higher.

Do you know of cheaper?

Yes the Epever 20A at 12V/24V and can have Voc at about 90V. Setup is via PC and configuration uploaded to unit. No screen for values while working. It is thus partially tamper proof. R1325
