Sunsynk - grid signal

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a pair of Sunsynk 5.5Kw inverters - currently no solar but will be soon. I am looking for a way to signal that power is down to my Sonof installation using a NO or NC signal to a Sonoff mini. I thought that it would be possible through the Gen Start (pins 7,8) on the master but they seem to be permanently closed regardless of settings and the combination of settings to make it work eludes me. Any suggestions?

Can't you Just drive a relay from a Sonoff output. This will allow the relay to drop off when there is no power.

I believe that I could, yes - not drive the relay from a device but add a relay driven by transformer off grid power and test through the relay using the mini - I was just hoping for a slightly cleaner solution.
