July 12, 20223 yr Good evening Hoping for some clarity on a pair of Revov 12.8V batteries run in series and connected to a Mecer 2400/1200 inverter. The inverter charges at max 20A. Will the BMS of these work with the Mecer units? https://www.avico.pro/products/copy-of-mecer-ivr-2400lbks-24v-power-inverter-with-battery-100ah-12v?variant=31851668471888¤cy=ZAR&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&utm_campaign=gs-2019-02-28&utm_source=google&utm_medium=smart_campaign&gclid=CjwKCAjwt7SWBhAnEiwAx8ZLaljLKyWPeQpFCKFCt4wy4unPbrAI5xyPplCQjooHb8n_OCSWOtMEyhoC-vQQAvD_BwE

This is just my guess looking how this inverter charges the Mecer 200Ah.
July 13, 20223 yr Picked up problems with Mecer Lobo (1440) and 20A. On small loads the V reading of Lithium too high to register as needing to charge so it switch strait back to float with no fan running, yet draw same current as the charge setting. This cause heat that can damage the inverter. The excess heat seems to be small enough with 10A and no fan for the inverter to cope. So would stay away from 20A.

I tested a friend's Ellies and found on the Mecer 200Ah that even at 7A after charging for 5hrs that the fan kicked in. The accumulated heat over time was enough to start the fan. No problem even if it does so. Yes due to the higher voltage from charger on 20A setting can put it in float. Also would prefer 10A setting or 20A but just for shorter periods.
