September 12, 20223 yr As the title says, is there an affordable way to create 48v without spending 20k? Currently have a 12v lifepo4 setup I built with lithium battery sa DIY. We don't need too much storage as we are a small family.
September 12, 20223 yr DIY - will need to wait 30 - 60 days for delivery. 16 x 25ah cells and a nice JK bms should do the trick on a lower budget of about R12k+vat 25AH Cells JKBMS Or you can go really cheap and get some secondlife 18650's on bidorbuy and build one that way. Lot of work going this route though. Testing, Soldering, bms wiring etc etc The 100AH and bigger ready built batteries are more price/time efficient though.
