October 11, 20223 yr Hi I am implementing 10x JA Solar , 540W Panels with a Deye 8KW inverter. The user manual for the Deye 8KW inverter , says do not ground the solar panels. Can anyone advise on this , because the panels have grounding points and need to be grounded so I am conflicted , what should I do ?
October 11, 20223 yr Author Thank you P1000. When grounding the Frame , i was thinking of grounding those to an earth spike ? Should this be grounded to the house ground or will the earth spike be okay , please elaborate on the best way to ground the panels.
October 13, 20223 yr I would put in an earth spike and run separate ground wires to the panel frames and the Inverter in a 'star' configuration
October 13, 20223 yr Ground the frames to an earth spike. (lightning rod earth) The inverter must be connected to the incoming Eskom earth, and/ or House earth. (protective earth)
