October 25, 20223 yr Hello, I would like to change the work mode of my Deye Hybrid inverter via web interface (pro.solarmanpv.com), but when I click the "device control" button I get an error: "Please notice - Device control function is not available". I saw in a YouTube video that this is the place but for some unknown reason I'm unable to access that menu. I have set the user / company as admin and verified the permissions there. Could this be a firmware issue and if yes, how can I get a new firmware? Current version info is as follows: Protocol Version:0104 Lithium Battery Version Number:65535 MAIN:2005-1096-1807 HMI:0-1001-c019 Thanks.
October 26, 20223 yr You need to be registered as an installer with Solarman (you dont actually have to be an installer, but you would need a second Solarman user profile that is set up as one) and have plant linked to the installer profile. To enable remote control for the installer user, Solarman support has to change something on their side. Jessica helped me set it up via Whatsapp on +86 1 five 8 five 84 five 2800. Not sure if WA works in China at the moment - if not try the same number on Wechat.
May 8, 20233 yr I have the same problem. I am registered as an installer with a second account (my first account is as a user). But when I want to edit the inverter settings I get the error: "Device control function is not available".
June 11, 20233 yr Can confirm, this is what I did to enable the online modification of the settings of the 50kW DEYE inverter with the HV battery. E-mail: service AT deye DOT com DOT cn Ask them to 1) increase the frequency of the update to every minute and 2) provide them SN of the inverter and Dongle ID with your Solarman Business account e-mail for the following domain https://globalpro.solarmanpv.com/ to they enable the device remote control function.
