November 14, 20223 yr Is it possible to use up the stored battery power before using grid power? At night for example I want to utilise the stored battery power and then when its depleted the grid starts charging it again. Because right now I am using grid at night even though I have stored power during the day from solar. Order of preference: Solar > Battery > Grid And if so what are the pros and cons of this. I'm assuming load shedding could be an issue if all the power is used up. Anything else? I have the following setup: 1 x Deye 5kw Hybrid Inverter 1 x Dyness 4.8kw Battery (soon to be 2) 5 x Canadian Solar 455W panels Edited November 14, 20223 yr by fuzex
