Hi guys. Does anyone know what the exact charge voltage of this battery is?

I would like to use some of these batteries in a small solar setup and wanna set the MPPT to the right charge voltage

They're designed to be drop in solutions for the security market so the technical guys at Regal say a typical 13.8V charge will be fine. Does that charge the cells fully though?  

The info brochure of the battery states a high voltage cut off @ 14.6V so maybe I should charge around 14.4V? I just want to ensure the batteries get a full charge as I think the 13.8V might not charge it fully..

I have Hubble and Mecer drop ins and I charge to below full at 13.8V. Others will not agree. If kept low enough at this level they do give nameplate capacity at my discharge level. 

Then about once a month time permitting I take them higher to balance. I once had one switching off at the high level and decided I don't like doing it. Call me old school but I view the BMS cut out as protection and not an everyday switch. 

Once charged to 14.2V they will settle at about 13.6-13.7V.

Very interesting. Thanks for the quick feedback. I think I'll try the 13.8V and see how it goes.. 

Would be cool if the BMS had Bluetooth or some kind of access to SOC. This battery has only the + and - terminals so looks exactly like a typical SLA

Just got a new Multiplus that was fighting with this battery for days. Could only get around the problem with the MK3-USB and setting absorbtion to 14. (Dip switch setting cannot fix it)

I think I will drop it to 13.8 and see how that goes. My previous Mecer inverter used to bump against the BMS after each bulk charge but the Victron gets quite ugly if voltage is set too high.
