So digging around and I come across a suspicious looking supplier selling some high capacity LiFePO4 batteries for next to nothing.
R21995 for a 10kw battery

I did some more digging and found that they share 2 websites :
https://lcbsolar.co.za/ and https://lifepo4solar.co.za/ both with different addresses in Joburg / Randfontein in obscure industrial parks yet they share the same contact number and email address.

Now this screams scammers to me, but I'm keen to know if anybody has dealt with them.

I also came across the same website (lifepo4solar.co.za) and to be perfectly honest, this website looks very doggy. I have learned that these sort of websites have whatsapp communication portals and no landline numbers. The fact that this business in particular does not have a vat number and business bank account raises red flags. I personally will not trust this business.
