Hello :)

Also all the best sun for the new year all!

I have a question in my mind that I am struggling with so...

not needed to do it as yet but planning to perhaps do one but now I am not sure of the solar.

so if I link 3 x5kw Sunsynks to make it 3 phase but I can only fit 12 panels, can I put those 12 panels on one of the Inverters and will it then supply solar to charge the battery off that inverter only and then supply only that phase with solar ?

I do not know how it works or if I have to have solar panels for each inverter to then have solar power for each phase ?

many thanks for any assistance.

When you parallel for 3 phase with Voltronics or with the Deye & Sunsynk Inverters they, have to have a common battery bank. This means that all inverters share the same Battery. You can place all 12 panels on 1 inverter without issues. Effectively the inverters become one machine in that they will draw off the common battery bank & feed their respective phase.

What is critical is the common battery bank. The solar panels can be place how ever you like, excess solar will be fed to that battery regardless. The inverters will work as one meaning changes made to one machines work timer mode will change all of them.

Parallel operations in this way makes the each individual inverters become a large 3 phase inverter that only has a single battery that is shared. The PV that connects into any inverter will be connected without consequence.
