Posted January 9, 20232 yr Good day all, Firstly thank you to the admins for accepting me! I have been reading the wealth of information available on this forum for a few months now. I got my 5kw Sunsynk system installed on the 15th of December 2022(5kw Sunsynk Inverter, 5.5kw Hubble AM-2 and 8x 450Watt Canadian Solar, Panels) I am very happy with the system and can already see the savings! Now my question... Even with double the amount of solar production than the load and the battery is fully charged, I am still pulling on average 20watt from the grid. Is there a setting to check or is this normal? Thanks in advance!! Matthys Edited January 9, 20232 yr by Matthys Koch
January 9, 20232 yr This is normally done so that your prepaid meter doesn't go into fault mode or trip.
January 9, 20232 yr And there IS a setting you can change to lower this - but as @Jacques Ester mentioned there is the risk it would trip your meter if prepaid
January 6, 20241 yr I have the simular issue. We got ours installed three days ago. I have 650 coming from solar i have 462 going to battery 134 going to the house but also pulling 65 from the grid…. Why is this i dont have a prepayment metre. Still learning all this.
