Recently I got my second mpp-solar MPI3k+ inverter.  I run it in parallel with another 3k+ which has a modbus card installed. Only my 1st inverter can do "consumption-mode", the new one does not have the knowledge of actual power +/-.

I want to run them in parallel, so I need the voltronic modbus server. Off course I will not buy it (~200€) and an additional modbus card for my new 3k+ (~100€) - I want to do it in software.

Does someone know in detail, how the modbus server works? I guess it just splits up the measured value from the power-meter and distributes it to the 2 inverters.
