One note: If you don't face any troubles or you miss any new feature, no upgrade is neccessary. Here links to some firmware files, that should work. If a installed fw makes troubles, just start the fw upgrade process again with another/older firmware. No, from my experience this parameter works in all kinds of setups.

Usually even 1.14SP8 should work. The parameter might be called differnet. Here a screenshot of a old solarpower version, it's in register parameters 2:

FW is a good one, but probably not the latest for your inverter. What's the serial# of your machine? Anyhow, take a pretty new solarpower1.22Sp7 for configuring. Then you should be save.

No, did not consider LOAD at all. You have to test it out with the procedure described above, keeping also an eye on your load. This is a very special setup, never tried this with the 10k.

Never tried that - but it should not be a big deal to test that out: Limit grid power to 1kW and also battery charge amps to e.g. 20A. If your solar power exceeds 1000W charge power (~50V/20A) the rest should be sent to grid. What happens if your solar energy exceeds 2000W? Does the inverter throttle the solar energy?

Depends on the setup: First of all, the firmware hast to be up to date - there were many bugs in relation to feed-limits. You need a smartmeter (SDM630 Modbus) and a modbus-card off course. Configuration (solarpower) has to be adapted.

I tried to collect almost all fw upgrade files for 10k infini's but do not have many for the very old non-parallel models. All I can offer ist this: Infini10kW_20160412.zip Infini10KW20160810P-nonPar.rar I know of a 2018-11-06 firmware, that performed perfectly over many years in a infini 10k in my basement. Unfortunately I don't have the upgrade files for this one.

Ok, FW is very old and includes almost all bugs... :-) A fw upgrade is in fact not really risky, as long as you have fw upgrade files for your previous version. You can always flash another fw over the running firmware, even it does not work with your device or is older. Your inverter is obviously a non-parallel infini 10k. Latest fw I got for this series is from 2019-05-09: Infini10KW-nonP-FSP20190509P This one includes BMS support,etc. So you can give it a shot with this one, if you are not happy, just flash old FW back: Infini10KW20150701-nonPar.rar Every upgrade on your own risk - off course!!! PS: Keep in mind to remove card from options slot for the upgrade, read the manual for the upgrade (pdf) and always flash both: master and slave firmware!

Would you post a pic of the type sticker? Can't believe, that there are 10k infinis older then 2015 in the field.

So you have only BMS card in the options slot and do not use a smartmeter/modbus card for zero consumption mode, right? As I don't know your batteries are you sure that they are set to pylontech protocol, 9600 baud and ID 1? There should be a windows software coming along with the batteries to set them up. If all setup doublechecking does not help, I can offer to have a look at bms bus traces. Therefor you need to capture some a minute of the bus traffic between bms card and battery bms. It's a RS485 bus, simply hook up with a sniffer and capture according to this manual. Use google translator if you don't speak german.

Just follow the manual. I uploaded it here for you. Typical configuration problems are wrong baudrate or bus ID.

Usually all FW version starting from year 2018 have BMS support included. To be sure, pls. press UP+DOWN in parallel and write down everything your read (U1 date+time, U2 date+time). When you have BMS comms problems it's realted to battery and bms setup in +90% of the cases.

If you have SolarPower to configure your new inverter, you can use SolarPower's debug mode. I made a little howto and posted it here. It's in german language, but g**gle translator is your friend. Just activate it (solarpower needs to be started as windows admin!) and change the setting you want (ac charigng amps, etc.) and note the exact timestamps you executed the changes. Then grab the logfile and post it here. Keep in mind to use a actual version of solarpower. Just uploaded latest version 1.22.SP7 for you here.

Infini's do have the same mechanism for changing the serial#. I succeeded in creating my own "setserial" program, so I can change the serial of all of my infinis just like I want. Maybe this would work for axperts as well. Btw: I was not able to change the serial of my (extremely bad built) MAX II 8K clone. Guess the crappy copied fw does not allow this at all.
