Good afternoon

My brother and I are discussing the work involved to upgrade his DB prior to an inverter install.

Is it legal to join the 16mm incoming mains cable? (In order to extend it) Mount a new surface db over existing Flush Mount db hole in the wall.

- if legal - what is the approved method?

Will n ferrule crimped with a hydraulic crimper suffice?
