There was a topic on this sometime in 2018.  i want to know what the general view is on Huawei inverters as Globally it seems to be the the number1 brand followed by SMA. What type of Li batteries are they compatible with?

I've been wondering too. There's been some excitement on social media after a big launch. 

High global sales don't necessarily amount to much in SA where we have loadshedding. Most inverters sold globally will be for use in grid-tied systems. Here in SA we need to include batteries because that's what gives protection against loadshedding. 

Just dont connect it to the internet and they should be fine! If you do then you can be sure it will send off data about you, its the Hauwei way.
