Posted January 12, 20232 yr I have a client who is looking for a small all-in-one unit to help combat load shedding. It's for a small two bedroom flat with an average electricity usage of around R300 per month. Has a gas geyser, so no heating of water necessary. It's also a rental unit, so would ultimately need to be removed in the fullness of time. I've done a bit of research and really like the look of the Lifelynk by Sunsynk...does anyone have experience with these? If not, what would an alternative solution be?
January 12, 20232 yr Hi I was also interested in one of these, contacted a company in Bloemfontein to try and get more tech specs of the unit and they could not be bothered to get back to me. Phoned Ellies and spoke to a lady there, she mentioned that there were some issues with the firmware and were not on the market yet, this was in oct last year. Not sure if that has been sorted. Cheers
January 13, 20232 yr Almost certainly overkill but Revov has designed a ‘cube’ that could work, it comes with a lot of the necessary wiring and circuit protection built in. https://revov.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/9-REVOV-CUBE_SpecV2-Refresh.pdf
January 17, 20232 yr Author I see that Suntrix are showing these as in stock on there website. Has anyone had any dealings with them and are they a reputable legit store? Also looking for an installer for this unit.

Hi Neil if you didn't get somebody to sort you out i build standby units in 480w, 640w, 800w and 1200w ups units with 2 x 12v 1280wh lifep04 drop in batteries in parallel for the 480w and 640w units and ESENER 2.56kWh 24V LIFePO4 Battery Module for the 800w and 1200w units. I have installed 103 units already. Remember not wired into db board needs 1x15A socket outlet that is on the main earth leakage. You can pm me if you are interested.
