I think polling every 5 sec when down is too aggressive for a public service. I take a sample once every 60 minutes and use the previous value if I get an error. Edited May 6, 20233 yr by system32

Definitely one of the better API's out there 😀 On my home automation I am using it inside node-red, on my website it is simply in an iframe: https://rooftopsolar.co.za/eskom-loadshedding-calendar/

Is there a way to see when load shedding has finished, like when the power has been restored after load shedding? I'm wanting to try build some small to tell me when power has been restored for my own personal use.
