Solar panels insurance

Featured Replies

It looks like different insurance companies have different approaches on how to handle a claim for panels. The best thing to do is to speak to your insurance to understand how they would handle your claim so that you don’t get caught by surprise.

Interestingly enough when I spoke to my insurers, they were more concerned that I had adequet machinery cover in the event of a DB fire / failure due to power surges.

The challenges they are currently facing is with replacements. Due to stock availability instead of having to replace a panel or two trying to match the panel spec they are forced to replace all of them.
